All the staff we met were polite and very helpful. Both the evening meal and the breakfast were spot on, especially the breakfast. An older hotel kept to a high standard. There's limited parking with a £5 a night charge.
The breakfast was buffet style and plenty of choice, our room was clean but we were at the top of the hotel at the last of the rooms and the corridor could have done with some paint as it was tired looking, the rest of the hotel was very clean and fresh looking.
Great Hotel w character and charm I the heart of Pitlochry. Full breakfast, option for afternoon tea, and a restaurant for dinner. The coach house pub also attached w food and drinks there as well. Small bar in the lobby w plenty of seating for a quiet drink or a game of cards. Would recommend.
Lovely castle like hotel. Parking is adequate but not real close and cost 5bps. Front desk staff were nice and helpful. Our rooms, had 2, were nicely decorated, clean comfortable and nice view of gardens. It was a great location to center of Pitlochry. We walked to dinner and shops close by. Breakfast was a nice buffet in the Garden restaurant.

Hotel was very central to everything, but the room we were in was very dated and small, but it was ok for us night.
What a fabulous property! Stay in a former castle that has been painstakingly updated for comfort. There's not a more convenient and centrally located space whether traveling by train (the hotel is visible from the station) or car with parking onsite. Great breakfast overlooking the garden and several spots for drinks and gathering. A must for any bucket list and don't miss the Pitlockry Festival theater productions while you're there.

First contact at reception was not welcoming or helpful. Guestroom had twin beds as requested but it was so small that we couldn’t leave our luggage open. Generally the hotel displays as historic and is clean.

A grand old lady…this hotel stands out as an historic building in delightful Pitlochry. Food was very good. Lift was fairly small and requires upgrading to meet today’s requirements. Rooms very clean and bed very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast good. There are many bus tours using this hotel which certainly presented some challenges in calling elevator and getting breakfast. A fire alarm happened early morning : staff seemed to know what their roles were and acted accordingly. Turned out to be some minor issue but could have been serious…many guests never left their rooms!! Would stay again. However, think charging to use the parking area when paying for rooms and meals a but much. Not as if area was overseen by security. Glad to read that current owners are planning upgrades as they have been doing with some of their other properties .
