"Quiet hotel, helpful staff, particularly the young staff, eager to make your stay a nice stay, I did notice an older staff member answering a young staff member with a direct answer and not with the courtesy I’m sure she would have wanted from him in the breakfast area, but the young man just walked to the greeting area and carried on, well done to him but shame on her, it stayed with me for a while, this was this morning Sunday 17th May."

"It was consistent with expectation and you get what you pay for. Which wasn't a lot. It served its purpose as an overnight stop-over before an early flight. Easy parking, convenient for LBA. Food awful. Bed was comfortable, room was clean but dark, shabby and rather depressing. Best bit - escaping into early morning sunshine."

"We were allowed to check in before 3.00pm as we arrived early. The room was clean but very dated and the furniture was old and shabby. The room carper was threadbare in places. Shower was OK once we got it work. The whole building looked tired and in need of alot if work. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially at breakfast where they were polite, attentive and very efficient. The breakfast was very good with a range of hot and cold offerings.
