"The location of this hotel is perfect! It is across the street from the Royal Palace and within walking distance to Gran Via, Plaza Major, Plaza del Sol, etc. Staff was nice. Only thing was, I stood for 4 nights and the AC did not work. I brought it up to their attention twice and no one stopped by to take a look at it. They gave me instructions over the phone and it still didn't work. They also didn't have an Iron in the room.. I asked front desk for one and they said they didn't have enough and couldn't provide one for me so I had to walk around on my vacation with wrinkle clothes right out the luggage. On the 3rd day, I had to ask again and then they gave me one. Other than that, it was nice and property and room was clean and quite."

"Hotel is very nice but the noise level is a little much. If you can get a room on the inside of the property it will be much more quiet. Hotel staff are helpful and breakfast was plentiful."

"Unfriendly reception staff but I could get over that. Hob and fridge which was good but not even a teaspoon let alone a pan or something to drink out of. The air conditioning sytem didn't work and the hot water in the shower didn't work for a whole day. The tv didn't always work and when the entry card didn't work they let us go all the way up to the room to come back down again. The bathroom door had the lock falling off. When I queried these things I was told that the maintenance team were not in and to come back tomorrow. The bed was uncomfortable and no extra pillows or blankets available. The only good thing for us was the location."
