"Spacious room comfortable bed was in an annex away from main building but not too far ..few steps to encounter with suitcase but overall nice stay...didn't really interact with staff as was away from main building but friendly and helpful on arriving"

"Front desk staff is why I felt safe. Young Black man at the front desk address all my concerns so quickly and was so helpful, I wish I remembered his name. Did not like my room felt a bit outdated "

"It is a wonderful historic building, but very run down . Some parts, eg the listed ballroom is closed needing roof repairs. Threadbare carpets, although bedding and towels changed each day there was poor bathroom supplies. I believe it is for sale. So fingers crossed because it’s in a good position with a car park. No resturant, or bar snacks. There is an excellent Spanish tapas restaurant round the corner.m and Peaberry a few yards down the street great for breakfast. "
