"They were under construction-----------We were not warned before. Expedia screwed up my reservation. I ordered a DOUBLE STUDIO room but Expedia changed it into a QUEEN STUDIO ROOM. I NEEDED 2(TWO) BEDS As I was traveling with my 54 year old daughter and we were forced to sleep in the SAME bed-----------------------------I am 83 years old--------------It was not good"

"I was shocked with how clean the room was such a lovely surprise 😊 The bed was very comphy we loved the outdoor area attached ot our room it was so lovely to sit and look at the water. The room was spacious. Shower was excellent pressure and nice and hot and a nice spacious bathroom. I liked that morning fresh was available to wash my dishes with as well as chxux cloths , scrub pad and scrubbing brush. "This motel was in a convenient location for us but we wouldn't choose to stay again. The guy running it was helpful and friendly but the rooms are quite run down and there seemed to be a lot of families living there. There were a lot of people sitting outside smoking and drinking and children running around. The swearing and yelling continued until at least 10pm so it wasn't a good experience for us."

"Very relaxing stay the staff were very friendly on arrival and showed us around the lush gardens. We had the pleasure of staying in the church loft, very unique experience. The only thing that could be improved is the light outside the church front windows (security light) in the common lounge area is on 24/7 and is very bright at night shining through the stained glass window on the front door. Shame it is not on a sensor after 9-10pm. Otherwise we would definitely come back."

"We loved our stay at La Promenade. Exactly as advertised, clean and well laid out with friendly staff. It is currently being renovated a few rooms at a time, but of no imposition to our stay. This will only make it a more attractive proposition in the future."

"The queen sized BED WAS COMFY AND IN GOOD ORDER. THE SHOWER WAS A PROBLEM. A LITLE UNSAFE FOR A PERSON WITH A DISABILITY AS THERE WAS QUJITE A LARGE STEP IN AND STEP OUT. TOO MANY RULES ON THE REVERSE SIDE OF THE SHEET OF PAPER GIVEN AT CHECK-IN WAS OFF-PUTTING AND DID NOTHING TO MAKE ME WANT TO STAY HERE AGAIN. THE SIGNS ABOVE THE KITCHEN SINK DETAILING $ 50 FEE FOR FAILURE TO EMPTY BIN AND $50 FOR FAILURE FOR LEAVING CUTLERY/CROCKERY OUT WERE OUTRAGEOUS . I WOULD HAVE BEEN PREPARED TO STAY...

"Service and staff very helpful and friendly the appartments very clean and tidy and stocked well Only thing was our group are all smokers and we could smoke anywhere on the complex we had to leave the place and smoke on the footpath but that is their rules so we abide by the rules Very lovely place and would recommend too other people"
