"Toilet in room not clean when we checked in, advised reception and went to spa. Came back 2 hours later and still not cleaned, my partner went back to reception then had to show receptionist the mess left in the toilet, she said had checked and hadn’t seen anything wrong so just left it the first time.. couple hairs on the bedding, but after trying to sort the toilet never bothered to say anything. spa showers not very clean, clumps of hair. Restaurant had no menus, had to wait about 10 mins...
"We knew there was work being carried out in the hotel Scaffolding outside not an issue to us. Room was clean no issues at all. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Best bit was the buffet style breakfast couldn’t fault it at all. We booked for 1 night good location for everything. Will definitely return."

"The room was very large and clean as was the bathroom. But it felt cosy. The staff at the pub were incredibly nice and helpful. It was a very nice, comforting stay with good food."
"Charming little hotel on the seaside promenade. Spacious rooms, a cosy "snug lounge" to read or have tea, coffee or other. Nice dining room, with a choice of free continental breakfast (which includes fresh baked croissants, cereal, toat, juice yogurt, and tea or coffee) or a full breakfast for a reasonable cost. The dining room is also open for lunch and dinner, and the food is very good.
The staff is friendly and helpful, and as a solo traveler, i felt very comfortable."
"Property was conveniently located. However some item needed repair although they could be used. Example: the shower leaked water which wasted water. The TV didn’t have a video signal although that may have need due to storms. Staff were very helpful and room was clean and neat."

The 2nd room had a smelly damp, mouldy bathroom.
There were no common areas. The bar/restaurant areas were kept closed/locked.
Reception staff were not at the hotel full time. Only sporadically during the day."
