"On the downside the menu did not change on a daily basis . The height of the bath was almost impossible to get in and out.
The staff were very nice , chatty and helpful. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I would recommend the hotel for short stays."
"A picture perfect inn in a beautiful little town. The meal we had was exceptionally delicious. The rooms were clean and nicely updated yet historically cozy. The staff were all helpful and kind and friendly. Breakfast was beautifully displayed and servings were huge ! Wish we had stayed more than one night - fabulous place."
"Loved this spot! I’m very selective about my foods and prefer to cook so it was greatly appreciated having the fridge and cooktop available.
I recommend grabbing a ribeye, some artisan butter and eggs from The Crieff Food Co.
Staff were so kind and helpful.
I’m sure I’ll be back in future!"
"Loved our stay!! Happily surprised by the whole place. The wonderful couple running the place welcomed us on arrival, gave us a tour, carried our bags to our room, and served us a delicious breakfast! The decorations were lovely, every was clean and thoughtfully set up. We would definitely stay here again!"
"The lodge was ok, but just not worth the price paid. Quite small and close to the road (which could be noisy). The room was dusty and tea cups not clean. The TV mostly didn't work (I believe it's a low signal area, so bring a book). Staff were helpful and friendly, "
"Great self-catering accomodation in an incredibly beautiful area. Went during November and there was still loads to do even with a bit of rain. Definitely recommend "
"Rooms were nice and clean with a nice feel of new and old bits and pieces which we liked.
Staff (Calum) family run hotel was lovely very helpful on any knowledge about Callander what to do and see and always had time for a blether.
Breakfast was lovely and tasty both mornings, nothing was a problem and went that extra mile to make the stay a wonderful experience.
We will definitely be back.
3 Adults in adjoining rooms."
"The property was good beds comfy we were there to catch-up with friends so only really used it to sleep in . Felt the place was clean but towels smelt of damp & dishes towel smelt really bed .when we came in front door smelt a bit damp think it was coming from drying room & went up stairs there was a smell of cooking & bathrooms wee bit damp smell as well just feel the place need a bit of a deep clean just to make it smell a bit fresher ."
