"The staff was very helpful and the property was clean and well appointed. The pool is nice when it is a little chilly outside. Breakfast was just right .. nothing fancy, but good for a quick bite. I recommend this hotel, well worth it."
"If you require any ADA accommodations, make sure to specify up front. This hotel has no elevators. We were unable to walk up stairs with our luggage due to our disabilities. Appreciative the gentleman at the front desk was able to switch us to a first floor room, but if they were fully booked we would have just had to go to a different hotel. Want to make sure others know that up front they should disclose their need(s) up front and not assume they have elevators like every other multi-story...
"The room was very dated with cheap furnishings. Although it appeared that the room had been painted in the last few years, the paint was spotty in places. The bathroom vanity was chipped and was not sized properly so that the toilet seat went underneath the counter. The bathtub had been refinished sloppily and the handlebar was missing. The knob of the bathroom door was not secured in the door so the door would not completely close.
There were no Kleenex or cups in the room and the toilet...
"The check in process was very frustrating. I booked through Expedia and wasn’t able to access my reservations through their online booking portal. A lodge TV at gas rooms dates in the 70s should probably have staff to check in if they can’t keep up with the technology"
"Rob the manager was extremely helpful and accommodating. The food and the restaurant were very good. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. It is in the center and friendly shops near by. Parking was included and in front of the inn."
"Very well restored and maintained old Victorian near town center. The Marble Room was very comfortable. Josh, the owner, was very accommodating to rectify a mistake I made in our reservation. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend the Burrel House."
