"Old property; could do with a facelift. Carpets were old and dated. Lack of coffee brewing option in room was a drag. However, lots of cool food places around hotel."

"The breakfast menu was fresh and plentiful! Breakfast was very hearty! The parking was ample and safe! The hotel itself needs some updating, however it was clean and priced accordingly. The staff was very helpful with assisting us on places to visit or dining out selections. The staff were very friendly! I enjoyed my stay at Best Western Springfield!"

"The hotel rooms were beyond unclean, they were unsanitary. Under one of the beds we found feces, seemingly to be an animals. The beds contained hair as if they didn’t change the sheets. There were prostitutes, drug dealers, and even homeless people in and around the property. And to top it off, the shady, rude main desk worker refused to refund us when we only stayed not even an hour because “we used the beds” when all we did was sit on them and move the sheets, BECAUSE it was so dirty. "The bathroom wall had damage from a past issue. The repair required drywall patching, which only had the first coat of drywall mud on it. It looked terrible and I could not believe that they would re-install the towel rack over it and consider it rentable. They did offer another room but it should have never gotten to that. No ice maker worked and you had to get ice from the restaurant."
