"Arrived at 9.00 Fri evening t
He couldn't find any record of my booking, even after showing booking confirmation and reference. The place had a musty smell and a unclean feel to it.
It looks as if there has been no attempts of upkeep at the property for years.
I did not stay and found somewhere else to stay"
"Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay here. The room was extremely clean and lovely all round, the hotel gave off a very beachy theme which just made me feel like I was at the beach everywhere I turned, which was lovely. The staff were extremely helpful and lovely. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!! Thank you for making my holiday extra special!"
"A gem of a place. Room was 100% and the breakfast kept me going all day. Location is 150 metres away from the main street. I now know where I am stopping next time I am in Paignton. Very highly recommended."
"Et helt greit hotell, som ligger sentralt til, og nære busstopp. Frokosten var god, om enn litt sen (8.30). Dusjen tok veldig lang tid for å bli varm, og trykket var veldig dårlig."
"I was so pleased I chose this hotel for overnight stay, it got everything I needed and I was in so love with room, absolutely gorgeous. Feel like I was at home, so comfy. Staff were super helpful and lovely. Location was so perfect, easy to travel to the town via foot and the Torquay harbours."
"What an amazing find. I have been going to Brixham since I was 6 years old (now 40) and had never stayed here, but so happy I did.
Super friendly staff and the breakfast was amazing.
Keep it up guys! I would definitely recommend and stay again without hesitation."
"Fantastic location overlooking the hilltop sea views. Last minute overnight booking, with only the rear looking room available (would like to try the sea view rooms next time). Room was immaculately clean with a fan, iron (and board), hairdryer, microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle (also tea, coffee and milk, that you can have refilled if you need more). Staff were absolutely fantastic from the time we checked in to when we left. Bar and food area downstairs (also plenty of outdoor seating).

"Stayed for 5 nights, have stayed before. Guesthouse 2 minute walk to front. Room had small fridge and microwave which was ideal for me, was advised private bathroom but was sharing with 2 others, not happy about that but otherwise a lovely stay. Marina very helpful on arrival and chatty throughout stay. I would return."
"A fabulous little traditional guest house where the personal service was fantastic.
I’d read all about Hans in the reviews and thought it must be too good to be true but was very pleasantly surprised to find it to be accurate.
Couldn’t have helped more, really interesting to talk to and the freshly cooked breakfast was superb!
We’ll definitely be back!"
"I had no wifi as there isnt in Foxes Den at first i was disconcerted then enjoyed reading and sitting outside instead of infront of the TV. It was just what I needed"
"Super friendly and helpful Tom the owner. Offered to help in all sorts of ways. Great central location, had everything that one needed. Would definitely stay again."
