"Always have an issue with this hotel. Have stayed there as part of a team's choice for a tournament; definitely not my choice! Always find something dirty, this time A/C wasn't working properly and had to make my own bed when asked for a change in sheets (due to some dirty spots found). This was because they only have 1 staff member at certain times of the day (this was at 2pm) therefore front desk person can't leave to help so anything."

"Very friendly staff. The free breakfast was great. It was in the higher end price wise for the type of room I got. Felt dirty after my shower than when I went in. Once I blew out the the candle that was pre-lit of me checking in, I smelled awful in the room."

"Our stay was good. Sad to say, our bed looked like it had just been remade after the last guest. Our top cover had stains on it, and our sheets did not look clean. When I woke up in the morning to leave, I always take the sheets off the bed to help with housekeeping. Our bedroom sink was clogged, and water did not go down after I used the sink. "The Staff members were lovely and helpful, hard working people. Unfortunately, this building is just too old and decrepit - any work they could do is like putting lipstick on a pig. Add to that, Bikers’ Fest in Bobcaygeon! Every room & parking space was packed with party people & loud music. Not nasty people; just there to party. And…it took 2 Staff visits to get the TV functional. It was an experience!"

"We had a very disappointing experience at Parkview Cottages Resort. The cottage was not properly cleaned upon arrival. there was hair all over the place, bugs inside. Since my wife is 31 weeks pregnant, cleanliness and comfort were extremely important for us. We politely requested if a cleaner could come the next morning, but instead the owner reacted very rudely and asked us to vacate the property immediately around 10 PM. "Upon my arrival the hotel was under renovations and not a person anywhere. I had booked my room approximately 6 weeks prior to my arrival. They accepted my payment and sent detail of my booking. Never did they send me an email stating they could not accommodate me. It took me a half hour just to find a number to speak to someone at Expedia. I was then on the phone for an additional 1.5 hours waiting for them to find me another place to stay."
