"It's a traditional old pub with rooms in a delightful village. We received a warm welcome, were shown to our rooms, and had a welcome dinner. Sunday nights are apparently busy, with a steady demand for food between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. The following morning we were served a good home-cooked breakfast. The hotel seems to be run by a farming family who have many animals to care for in addition to the human locals and the occasional international visitors.

"The room was clean and comfortable, staff couldn’t have been more helpful, preparing an earlier breakfast as we needed to leave before the usual breakfast time. It is old - worldly and it is friendly and welcoming."
"Excellent stay. Trevor met us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The hut was super cosy and amazingly clean.
We had everything we needed for an offthe beaten track stay. Trevor even booked a table at a local pub and arranged a bottle of fizz for us at my request for my other halfs birthday.
The surroundings and views were beautiful and there were great walks in the area too.
We felt very secluded and private."

"Well maintained and characteristic property with exposed beams and period features combined with modern decor and facilities. The only thing to be aware of is there is no shower in either bathroom (likely due to low ceilings), although both have a mixer tap with a showerhead so you can sit / kneel and shower this way.
Whilst its proximity to the road is close, it was not a busy road, so passing traffic was not an issue during our stay. There was a pub within 1min walk of the property that also...
"The location of the house is great for the pubs, restaurants and shops. The house is charming and the communication with the host was excellent. Would recommend a stay to get away from it all."
"A very bliss visit was so nice being away from big towns and citys. The dingle den is very cozy, Jo the host is an amazing lady and willing to help with anything you may need. I spent 13 days here and it is very peacful you wont see a single person unless you want to head to the local pub/resturant that does very good food and has a nice chilled vibe. Will be staying again in the summer "

"Delightful shepherd’s hut set in the mid-Wales countryside. Well equipped and maintained and very comfortable, it was just right for our long weekend visiting friends in the area. The bed was comfortable and the small kitchen and shower room met our needs. We benefitted from excellent weather so were able to take full advantage of the terrace which overlooked a field of buttercups and the nearby hills."
