"We loved this place! It was clean, simple and really perfect for a stay in Lucerne. Breakfast was great and dinner option (extra) was really good! Common areas were excellent and comfortable. Was not too crowded in early October. We had a private room with private bathroom and the beds/pillows were amazing. Probably some of the best beds we had on a 2-week European trip. The room did not have a/c so in the summer, that might not be comfortable. We had a table lamp in our room but no outlets...

"Location was the main point. A bare bones approach, good enough for sleeping, nothing more. I guess this what you get in Switzerland in that pcice range, which was not low by any means."

"Good hotel and infront of metro station "

"Great"

"Great stay at Hotel Engel! I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Engel. The staff were incredibly helpful with all of my questions, the room was cleaned thoroughly every single day, and the surrounding view outside the hotel was absolutely incredible. I also loved the breakfast, which had plenty of variety every morning. Plus, the convenience is unbeatable since the bus station is just across the hotel. Highly recommended!"

"Very nice Accommodation with a very nice team that helps all the time! We shall come again for sure!"

"Supee Veloständer gesichert. Bei Ankunft vor 17.00 niemand im HAUSE. KEIN Getränke Automat..= selber mitbringen.Schöner Garten mit Tischen und Stühlen..ruhige Lage"

"There were no staff to comment on. No facilities in hotel until bar opened after 6ish"

"It’s located at convenient location, not far from the lake and shopping area. The pods are really cool and the pod door slides and auto-locks. The bathroom amenities were nice. Overall a great experience"

"Wij hadden een fantastische week. Geweldige plek, vriendelijk dorpje met voldoende mogelijkheden en gelegen in het centrum van Zwitserland. Het personeel is informeel, bijzonder vriendelijk en gastvrij. Het hotel is oud en slecht onderhouden en het restaurant is erg basic. Maar de plek en het uitzicht - zowel in de kamers als in het restaurant en op het terras- zijn goud waard. Afvaart met de boot naar o.a. Lucern is naast ht hotel. Evenals een plek om heerlijk te zemmen met uitzicht op de...

"Amazing stay! So quiet, clean, and very attentive staff. Breakfast was excellent! It was the perfect stay to complete the entire Rigi panorama trail. Loved the hot tub all to ourselves watching the sunset in the evening."

"الاستقبال ودود جدا وسريع ومميز الموقع مميز جدا ولكن غير دقيق في هوتيل دوت كوم ينقص النظافة في الغرف مناسب السعر مقابل الخدمات"

"Everything listed was untrue. The property was literally unliveable. It is on mountain top and is broke down house with cat and dog smell and really not livable condition. Stay away. This is scam"
