"On one of the days the ceiling outside room actually fell down and I had to tell the staff member about it. we also had broken shelf in the room which I told stuff about the first night but was never fixed, I also noticed the bedding had stains on it and the floor look like it hadn't been swept."

"Very spacious and clean single room. Equipped with fridge and a fan which were both very welcome on the extremely warm conditions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is undergoing full refurbishment by dedicated owners. Extremely good value for money also."

"Lovely welcome from hosts Fraser and Maria. Room was very clean and well presented, great shower. Location is only a few minutes walk to the high street. Excellent breakfast; yoghurts, cereals, fresh fruit and cooked items prepared to order.

"My friend and I stayed at The Steamer Inn, Shanklin for 3 nights earlier this week. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. The service was excellent as was the food; the "included" english breakfast was great, served freshly cooked and well-presented.
The Steamer Inn was well located for the buses (50 yards across the road) which we made good use of throughout our stay.
It was a shame the lift from the esplanade to the top of the cliff was out of action but instead we made...
"The bedding and towels were lovely and clean, couldn't fault.
The shower tray left a lot to be desired, along with the shower mat and windowsill.
There was no way of opening/closing the windows as they were too high. The same with the curtains. A long bamboo rod attached to the top could help with opening/closing?
Staff? Hardley saw a soul in the 4 days I was there.
The breakfast was sufficient for what I needed."
"We stayed in a Burst of Blue Lodge with a hot tub. We had a lovely relaxed stay. The staff were brilliant. Clean enough. No instructions for the oven, microwave or dishwasher. No welcome pack left as per cleaners check list. However, we would return & would recommend the lovely site and surroundings."

"Property need maintenance floor ve deep dip hiding and covering with carpet near dinning area i was about to tripped furniture snd fan was wobbly however it was ok for one night stay. We had good sleep peaceful area."
