"For occupying empty tudent ccommodation, it's mostly very good, I only have a few notable nitpicks.
1) The lights are very strong and no lampshades, one on the ceiling bares full force down onto the bed and I couldn't figure out a way to dim it without turning everything off, it was very bright and made laying on the bed (or not sitting in a slump) very uncomfortable when I wasn't actively asleep. If there is one I missed I hope the managers let me know in response to the review so it can help...
"Very quiet location even though situated on the Service Station. Refill of tea and coffees was good to know if needed. Staff explained everything as checked in."
"Property is large house with no AC. We were on top floor. No lift. Other than that the property was nice, comfortable beds and mist essentials provided. A little out of the way and pricy but it was last minute and it could have been much worse. They do a good job for an older property."
"My husband stayed at Deangate Motel due to working locally. The motel was clean staff helpful in that they let him keep the same room when he extended his stay due to not finishing his work on time. The room he was in he could see his work van clearly and the carpark was super safe as it joined the police station carpark so gave him peace of mind .will stay again as a couple so we can explore the area locally which is walking distance to Lydney. Beautiful countryside for walking."
"Nice room & building, shame about the lack of care & attention to detail!
Arrived to find the room not made up. Ali, a kitchen worker was apologetic & accommodating & said he would call house keeping back. We went off for 1 hour but returned earlier than anticipated as my partner wasn’t feeling well.
When we came to the room, the male worker, on his phone, had an unpleasant attitude, saying he needed another 10 minutes. We said ok, but we needed to use the bathroom urgently.

"Terrible el calor que hacía en la habitación. En plena ola de calor (35-40 grados centígrados), no tenían aire acondicionado, las ventanas solo se podían abrir una ranura, era comonuna carcel hirviendo. Al final nos dejaron un ventilador que alivió un poco la situación pero no la solucinó.
El personal dependía micho del día, había gente encantadora y gente muy poco colaboradora que se notaba que no les gustaba su trabajo.
La habitación era bonita.

"Great place to say. Staff very welcoming and polite. Close to Priston Mills as we were at a wedding. Great atmosphere in the pub a band played one night. Locals were sociable. Highly recommend"
