"The outside wasn't anything special, and the location right next to the freeway, while convenient, had us nervous. We were so pleasantly surprised by this property! Large spacious rooms with lots of storage for our family of 4- clothes, pool toys, snacks- we were very comfortable. The staff was friendly, discreet and very helpful- extra pillows and towels were brought to us immediately! The location was perfect for short trips to Universal, Griffith Observatory and cute shopping at Magnolia...

"This hotel is very basic budget accommodation, barely rated a 3 star. The rooms are showing age, and definitely in need of updating. The reception area is very small with 'zig zag' line up aisles (like airlines), and they definitely need more staff on reception desk to assist at peak check-in time. I was fortunate to check-in within 15 minutes, but others behind me could have waited a very much longer time. The Shuttle bus to-from the airport only runs once hourly, so if you miss it, you have to...
