"We enjoyed our stay at the Milling Hotel Plaza in Odense, Denmark. The hotel was clean, comfortable, functional, and had quaint, charming decor. It is also conveniently located near the train station and the charming old town which included shops, restaurants, and historical sights. The purchased breakfast was a buffet which included a tasty typical, complete Danish breakfast.
The only comment we have of the hotel was in regard to the location of our room on the 4th floor, which overlooked the...
"Hotel is very tired and basic. Although there is luggage storage, it isn’t secure although they’ve ‘had no issues in the past’. Breakfast was basic too and couldn’t find a spare clean table so ate in my room. If you know what you’re getting yourself in for, it’s ok!"
"The Milling 11 is a useful hotel for rail travellers as it's about 10 minutes walk from the main Odense station. If you are Interrailing to Sweden, Odense is sometimes a better overnight than Copenhagen - certainly the Milling offers better value than most Copenhagen hotels.
It's close to the shopping centre, with its range of bars and restaurants, and within walking distance of the Carl Nielsen and Has Christian Andersen museums. It also serves an excellent breakfast, and offers 24/7 teas,...

"Man skal regne med at det er et ældre hotel, men det er under renovering. Helt ny elevator. Blev super venlig modtaget, og vi manglede bestemt ikke noget under vores ophold. Morgenmaden var også tilfredstillende, blev endda spurgt om hvordan vi ville have vores æg. 😊"

"Heerlijke accomodatie met een prachtige tuin waar je heerlijk kan verblijven. Veel ruimte, zon en schaduw en voldoende zitmogelijkheid inclusief lekkere stoelen. Ook met minder goed weer heb je veel mogelijkheden in plaats van op je kamer zitten. De dieren (alpaca's, honden, pauwen en kippen) zijn een leuke extra. De locatie is goed, makkelijk te bereiken en vlakbij Middelfart. De kamer is schoon, ruim, met een goede badkamer en lekkere bedden. Zeer aan te raden."

"Super fedt sted. Nogle har skrevet at det ligner en losseplads men man er i gang med at renovere og der hersker en fredfyldt hygge som i de gamle hippi dage med tanker til 5 gange interrail. Her er ikke kæft trit og retning men plads til alle. Vi havde Glamping telt med morgenmad der bare bare var top. Vi nåede desværre ikke flower power pizza i den selvbygget ovn - så vi kommer igen. Efter 14 dage i NYC var det som at tage skoene af efter caminoen. Vi kommer igen 100P."
"I made a booking through hotels.com. I then received check in instructions from Dancenter, which is a holiday agent in Denmark.
As the booking was done through hotels.com I expected the stay to be fully paid, but when arriving at the property it was clear that on top of the hotels.com price I had to pay for electricity, water and heating. This was not explained on hotels.com.
Arriving at the property I discovered that there was no bedding, so I had to go to the local supermarket and buy bedding....
