"Stayed with wife and 2 children (20 and 23) in the family room in July. This apartment is across the street from the hotel. Pros: the room was huge with a 2 story ceiling, Beds and pillows were good. King bed and a bunk bed. Very clean. On a quiet street one block off a main street. Staff was very nice and helpful. Cons: the bathroom. It was clean and the shower was fine. The sink was tiny, no place to put toiletries, but the worst thing was it had 2 faucets, one hot and one cold, so you had to...

"This property is wonderful. Clean, friendly staff, the broom has 95% of what you need for a base to do the fringe, then public transport location of Abbeyhill is serviced WELL into the night as well (I got home at 02:30 one night) and still had a lovely chat with the 24 hour front door staff. I will be booking this again for sure next year."

"We booked this hotel for an overnight prior to a flight, and it was a mistake. The building has very little if any soundproofing and every noise from surrounding rooms adjacent and above could be heard, down to individual footsteps. It is also a pub which meant that many guests were drinking on site, late to their rooms in the evening and noisy in the corridors. If you want a good nights sleep, this is not the place to stay"

"The hostel was walkable to many sites. Only thing I did not like was on the first day I recieved semi clean linen that I had to exchanged. Noise from the bar did not bother me but getting breakfast was a hassle in that I had to go to the front desk and charge it and scan it in front of the buffet scanner. Quite a bit of work for that early in the morning. Could be efficient in the future. Overall hostel staff were exemplary and amicable. Enjoyed quiz night and karaoke night! Will go back again...
