"The convenience to the caverns is definitely a big plus. I have never stayed here while the water park was open but that seems fun. I loved being able to travel here with my pet and even though I it didn't know at first that my pet was going to come with me, they had no problems finding me a room. It was clean and I felt safe and good here. . Only problem. There's no food around for purchase after a certain time. And then you end up having to go to Carlsbad. I must add that the staff in the breakfast area needed help with a simple translation of someone wanting to fill their water bottle.
