"The units are like cabins which were popular in the late 1950s and early 1960s, with gravel access. Parking is directly in front of my cabin. The cabins are difficult to identify at night with no street lighting in the cabin area.
Interior walls are shiplap stained boards. Flooring is modern laminate. My unit had two bedrooms, each with a double bed, with curtains separating them from the living area, so not very private, but ok for me as a single person for one night. The bed was good and the...
"Welcoming hotel with decent fascilities, nice room and walking distance of Canmore town centre restaurants and shops. Plenty of on site parking, don't be worried by the trains.."
"Good location and wonderful view from porch. Great room and clean bathroom. Would have liked little more info from receptionists. Would be nice to have phones in room. Rooms need more lighting around microwave area."
"Very noisy place , no soundproofing at all, people on the top moving furniture or something noise, all night, and from 5 am again.. no response after complaint and messages to front desk, no connection with staff at all, staff doesn’t care at all, buses idling whole morning with diesel fumes entering guests rooms.. no communication, no response from customer service at all, no human relations with hotel staff.. will not recommend to anyone who is hoping to have good rest and relax.. Not gonna...
"It needs lots of improvement the fan in the room we stayed the biggest one in the entire hotel it is broken and appears lack of maintenance along with the fireplace. No fresh coffee from the machine as it was broken too. It us kind of run down hotel for the amount we paid we could stay in a better one."
"Great location. The 4:00 check in, and not a moment sooner, rule is not how the majority of hotels work but the King Eddy does. The “lobby” is locked up tight with only a small bench to sit on while waiting for someone to show up. Staff should instruct patrons about how parking works and that access to the parkade is only by way of the key fob they hand you. My husband left ours in the car then we couldn’t get back into the parkade not realizing we needed the key fob for access. Hotel is...
"Overall, the facilities were nice, well maintained and clean. However, the room construction allowed unnecessary noise including foot steps from the unit above and tenant conversations from the adjoining rooms."
