"It’s a B&B style hotel in Lake District. It’s best for driving but there’s bus stop just outside the hotel. The staff welcomed us warmly. The room is clean and tidy. There’s no telecom network coverage. The room is also covered by WiFi though it was more stable near the door. We also had dinner in the hotel which we enjoyed the evening with descent food. "After a long day of Hadrian Wall walking all we wanted was a shower, alas ran out of hot water after 5 min. I’ve never run out of hot water at a hotel before anywhere in UK until now. And it didn’t warm up again until following morning. Very really disappointing to say the least.

"You don't get good feeling when you get into the room and there weren't shampoo/body wash (delivered next morning). There is no reception and a call to the hotel, it was received by property manager. She mentioned that we didn't had the reservation from Expedia but upon insisting, she found it and took 10 mins to arrive for letting us in. For the price, it's not what I had expected from the room & amenities"

"Pros:
The house has everything we need! The host even prepared ice cubes and a bottle of milk for us. The house is very clean and tidy and spacious with three bedrooms available to sleep 6. It has all the amenities including dishwasher tablets, all cleaning stuff as well as all kitchen stuff. The host even had drawing books for kids. It is so comfortable sitting in the living room area enjoying the balcony view of a large grassland.
