"The single room was great, bigger than I expected, spotless clean in bedroom and bathroom. The breakfast was lovely, I really liked the fact it was served in your room kinda like room service, as a solo guest it avoided them awkward breakfast room conversations with the other guests 😀. I wouldn't hesitate to book again."

So quiet and peaceful but 3 minute drive to Ullswater. I walked down to Aira Force from the hotel which was a bonus. We'll be back!"

"I have nothing to compare it with as this is my first experience of youth hostels in 40 years. I was impressed. I loved the open area, bar and restaurant. The dormitory was excellent. Beds were well spaced, ample plug sockets, mattress & pillows excellent. Clean sheets and super mattress. The bed was as good as any 5 star hotel. Honestly. The shower was clean but a little small. The facilities in the kitchen were good but some of the pans had loose handles. The staff clearly clean but somehow...
