"stayed here 27 times. great location. restaurant, bar and cleaning staff wonderful. two older gentlemen on reception could do with a customer service course. manager is really attentive and friendly. overall a lovely place to stay and definitely recommended"

"Rooms are getting very dated. Mould on shower seals etc and on grout in shower. I watched the cleaner and she was spending 7 or 8 minutes when ‘cleaning’ rooms. Floor not mopped even once during the week stay. Reception staff quite nice but slow service at the bar. It’s close to yumbo which is why I stayed but there are definitely nicer places to stay as they haven’t looked after the place well enough since the refurb of several years ago. "

"The breakfast was quite limited. Sometimes they add raw onion in omelette. They also block half of morning dining room so I had to wait for 5-10 minutes every morning at 10am for free table and for fork and knife. Menwhile the blocked area had all the tables ready but not used. The rooms are very dated. Not a fan of purple colours everywhere. I will probably wont stay there again unless its super cheap because its very close to Yumbo. "
