One Nigh stay approved

You get what you pay for. The cost was minimal and what we needed for a getaway to the Shasta Area. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and offered recommendations. Nice shower and comfortable bed.

My room was SO cute and had a full kitchen with stove and fridge, as well as a walk-in closet. Felt like living in a real house. Incredible deal for the price and would absolutely stay here the next time I visit Yreka.

The towels have some a brown spot on it and they look like that being washed many times. My husband has to wash the bath towel before he used it. The sheets look old but seems to be clean. The room is more spacious than I think the little things make you pass. For example, the drawers have some particles in them so you cannot use them unless you clean them first. And I thought I locked the door, but my husband went out to take a walk so I locked it again. However he could actually open it from outside without the card. I wonder if I have spent the night not locking door when I thought I did.

It was reasonably quiet. Late check-in went fine, friendly staff. But the room was not clean. There was some unrecognizable debris on a nightstand, the refrigerator was not clean and the freezer was so frosted it was unusable. The carpet was old, which is OK, but had a lot of loose crud on it showing that it had not been vacuumed for some time. We didn't want to set foot on it with bare feet. There were two chairs with badly stained cushions. Nothing had been dusted recently. Even the phone was dirty with dust and dirt that needed wiping off. The lamp base was dirty. Bathroom walls had peeling paint. Corners of the bathroom floor had accumulations of dirt and debris, clearly not cleaned for a long time. The bed linens were OK, and clean, or we would not have stayed. Bath linens were clean, but had some old stains not removed by laundering, and one towel had a big hole in it. Had we not been so tired and it not been so late when we checked in, we would have cancelled and looked for a room elsewhere. The price was low, but not enough to make up for the dirty condition of the room.

Parking and check in was easy. Desk staff was nice and efficient. This is a very economical place to stay and it looks like it, but I haven't had any problems with security, drama, or noise outside. This is a good place to stay for the money. It is hard to give it 5 stars it doesn't really look like they are trying for that, but we've stayed their twice and I'd be very comfortable choosing them again. I do recommend if you are on a budget.

An older ,quaint motel but was clean, comfortable and the owners were very accommodating to our parking needs with pickup and cargo trailer(total 38 feet). They made sure parking area was free of debris etc. We are actually staying there on our return trip.

Avoid at all cost

Filthy dirty, birth rooms had strong foul odors, rooms were not cleaned, ones room had a half pot of coffee left in pot of and mini fridge had mildew inside, bathrooms were filthy, mattresses were worn out. Did not stay, asked for and received refund.

Rating is not accurate. Very dirty room.

I had booked this Motel on the basis of a 7 plus rating on hotels.com which is usually accurate, but not in this case. The toilet had faces in it, there was a massive cobweb in the corner of the room, hair stuck to the shower wall and I had an ant in my bed. The room was just grubby and unclean in general and in the top two worst rooms I’ve stayed in, in the last 18 of extensive travel for business and pleasure.

They didnt clean the room before i got there . The towels were dirty just refolded . What looked like puck on carpet they didnt even try to clean it. The worst room ive ever rented in all my 56 yrars

Not the worst, but bad and not clean

I had hopes to give a better review,l. Security latch broken, no dead bolt. Bed clean, no bugs. Sink had rings indicating it had not been wiped down and show had old soap on floor, sink had no drain cover. Hair dryer was clogged with old hair and handle & wires very dirty. Never saw housekeeping, trash was never emptied. Didn't have enough towels and couldn't get any. Phone had not been cleaned, if ever.

Here’s the deal on the Jefferson Inn in Yreka

The motel has both short and long-term occupants and the units are quite dated as well as not being very clean. The continental breakfast is lightly stocked and not available if the front desk person is not at the desk.
