"More of the western style setup but still a compact business hotel for the Japanese.
It was very close to Kanayama station, tons of food options for every taste, and a Aeon mall with reasonable walking distance.
Only complaint I had to adjust to was the noise, it is a busy area until late at night and my room was on the train side. I did get use to it after a couple nights.
Breakfast has a few western style items to get you by, but their is a FamilyMart just downstairs, and a McDonalds...
"We originally booked a smoking room because it was the only option available for a family of four. We did not realize how much the rooms actually smelled of smoke in reality. It was pretty unbearable! Thankfully, the hotel manager was able to switch us to a non-smoking room the day of arrival, which made our stay much more pleasant. The breakfast buffet is excellent and I recommend adding that as your option if you will be staying at this hotel."
