"Some of the staff was great but it’s always one that has to have an attitude like they don’t like the job. Housekeeping needs to do better at cleaning rooms. There was garbage still in the room from previous guest. Pool very small and had way too much chlorine for anyone to swim."

"We had a connection cancelled due to severe weather and got stranded in Chicago late in the evening. I booked this hotel on Hotels.com thinking it had an airport shuttle. It did not. When we arrived, the line to checkin was nearly out the door with one young girl working the desk and clearly using her phone to FaceTime someone who was guiding her through every step, every click of the mouse, etc. She was not trained and should not have been there alone. As a result, we stood in line for well over an hour to get checked in and didn't get to sleep until around 2am. This turned a miserable day into two miserable days."

"I witnessed a lot, and I stay here frequently when I travel to the Chicago area. People on the top floor are smoking with the windows open. CRACKHEADS walking in and out of the side doors. Lots of men standing around the side entrance doors smoking weed (I respect them doing it outside more than their rooms but move away from the entrance door at least). The elevator was trashy. Full of popcorn. I was nice enough to let the front desk attendant know. Everyone is ignored it! I'm shocked. I have stayed here at least 7-10 times. I have seen "odd" people walking around and sitting outside the front area, but not like this trip."

"Breakfast was good! I enjoyed that the proteins changed from day to day! The front desk staff were very kind and informative. I wanted housekeeping to come and take out the trash which they did AND picked up after us and made our bed while we were out for the day. We will definitely stay here again when we visit chicago again, its about a 40minute drive into the downtown area. Worth it if you want to have some quiet away from the big city each night"

"The room was neat, spacious and clean. I had an accessible room so there is no tub which is understandable, however the only problem was the shower water got everywhere on the floor leaving a huge puddle due to no tub or way to keep the water in 1 area. Everything else was remarkable. The staff was extremely nice, warm, charming, detailed, and eagerly helpful. Breakfast buffet was delicious as usual. Kid and family friendly. Beautiful pool and sight. We really had an awesome time there and my kids and I are always excited to keep coming back! Definitely 5 stars! "
