"Had a lovely four night stay. Ideal location for visiting all Kirkcudbrights attractions on foot. Great free parking.. never had a problem finding a space very close to apartment. Apartment was very spacious for a couple. Kitchen was a bit small but very weĺl equipped. Pete had generously left a few goodies in the fridge for our arrival. Lots of useful books , maps and leaflets about the area. Lovely beach and forest walks just a short drive away."

"We chose this property as I wanted to go somewhere in Scotland, not far from home, with my friends to celebrate my birthday. My requirement was a place that could accommodate a group of 10 in a cute town, and I was not too fussed about the place itself, and this place met those while browsing. I didn’t expect this house to give me one of the best weekends of my year. The pre arrival communication with the host was great, and our host, River, met us at the door when we arrived. There was a welcome prosecco, some bread and fresh fruits for us which was a delightful touch. We were also provided with an information book which had everything we needed to know about the house, safety, appliances, and some recommendations about eateries in town as well. The communal kitchen was a highlight for me personally. Everything I could want and more was in the kitchen, a fridge with ice cubes machine, coffee maker, a wide range of teas, and a bar area stocked with all the supplies for making cocktails! The lounge and dining area were also great, comfortable, with beautiful views and smart TVs. Our host River was friendly, knowledgable, responsive and communicative as well. It felt reassuring to have her presence nearby in the nursery without it feeling imposing, and she gave great recommendations for activities as well. I would highly recommend this place both for the house itself and because of the lovely host. The main thing lacking in the house was accessibility."

Beautiful house on private estate with hot tub, nature and adventure.

10/10 Excellent
"House itself is in need if a little TLC Didn't stop us from having a brilliant time here. The "hot tub" has to heated with logs, which are provided, left to heat for about 1 hour before going in. Water is brown, dirty looking, from tap but drinking water is provided. Loved the holiday. Host was very helpful and friendly. Dogs were very friendly as we're the horses and sheep. One thing we did miss were mats in the shower as one of the ladies slipped and fell in shower, gave herself a really sore bottom and back. Overall we Loved it. "
