"Very disappointed in this hotel, they should have advised the hotel was going thru renovations, the awkward entry from the front to the horrible smell of paint in the lobby and construction dust everywhere. The service from front desk was horrible, they had always 3 to 4 people who were more a permanent fixture than they were helpful. Front desk claimed that during check-in that you would have to put in a request to have the rooms cleaned and fresh towels placed, that was never suggested. We requested to have a faulty iron replaced and that took forever, we asked 3 seperate times for fresh towels and garbage removal and 5 hour's later nothing until we physically went to front desk to ask why is it so difficult to get a simple request completed. I would never go back, the hotel is situated along hwy with major constuction to roads everywhere and its in the middle of industrial run down area. First and last time at this hotel. DO NOT RECOMMEND"

"Excellent breakfast "

"Very nice hotel, clean and well maintained with helpful, courteous staff. The only stain was having breakfast at 6:30am. It was clear the early birds were served the leftovers from the previous day. Chewy, leathery potatoes and sausages, and watery omelettes (from being microwaved). This to me is totally unacceptable and cheap and ruined my experience. I contacted the hotel to complain and nobody bothered getting back fo me. Will be contacting Hampton head office and the Health inspectors next. I just don’t get it. "

"Couldn't lock the door to our room - deadbolt issue. Coffee maker didn't work. No one at the desk to report problems to. Terribly noisy while sleeping because people wheel luggage cart over cobbles around the pool. Many recent updates, they seem to be trying hard - but they lost me as a future customer."
