The Space:
Step out onto the balcony and take in sweeping views of Whistler Valley, where crisp alpine air meets the scent of cedar wood. After a day on the slopes, sink into the private hot tub or warm yourself by the stone-faced fireplace as the snow falls outside oversized windows. Mornings are best spent with a quiet coffee on the deck, evenings with family meals prepared in the gourmet kitchen, and every moment framed by the charm of a true mountain retreat.

Sleeping arrangements
The upper level is home to two spacious bedrooms. The primary bedroom features a king bed, sitting area with TV and stereo, and a generous ensuite with double vanity, deep soaking bathtub, and glass-enclosed shower. A second primary offers a queen bed, its own TV, sitting area, a small private deck, and an ensuite with a double vanity and glass-enclosed shower. On the lower level, the third and fourth bedrooms both feature king-split beds, providing flexibility for your group. A separate bathroom on this level includes a deep soaking bathtub and glass-enclosed shower. A powder room on the main floor adds convenience.

Living spaces
The open-concept living area brings people together with cedar wood accents, a stone-faced fireplace, and ample seating. Large windows fill the space with light and frame the mountain scenery. Step outside to a private balcony furnished with patio seating and a BBQ, perfect for taking in the view or enjoying an evening meal. Downstairs, a private hot tub deck invites you to relax in complete comfort after a day of adventure.

Kitchen & dining
Cook with ease in a fully equipped kitchen featuring granite counters and stainless steel appliances. A dining area with seating for eight makes it simple to share meals, whether a hearty breakfast before hitting the slopes or a long dinner that stretches late into the evening. Essentials like cookware, dishes, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, oven, and dishwasher are all provided, along with thoughtful touches such as wine glasses, a blender, and barbecue utensils.

Comfort & convenience
Enjoy in-unit laundry with washer and dryer, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a dedicated workspace complete with desk. The home includes a secure single-car garage with equipment storage, an additional driveway parking space, and a smart lock for self check-in.

Ski access
Winter days start just steps away with access to the Dave Murray ski trail and the 2010 Olympic downhill run. The ski-out trail is best suited to intermediate skiers and requires removing skis to cross a road before continuing down to the Creekside Gondola. The return route leads from the Lower Dave Murray Downhill run, connecting to the Home Run trail and a short walk back to the property. Ski access is seasonal, typically from late December to March, and conditions can be confirmed before your arrival.

The Neighborhood:
Taluswood is perched high on Whistler Mountain in the peaceful Nordic neighbourhood, offering a quiet, forested setting with sweeping mountain views. With direct access to ski trails leading to Creekside, it’s ideal for intermediate skiers and snowboarders looking for a true slopeside experience. In summer, guests enjoy nearby hiking and biking trails, along with the serenity of being above the bustle of the village. Due to its secluded location, Taluswood is best suited for guests with a vehicle. While there’s no public transit in the immediate area, Creekside’s shops, restaurants, and gondola are just a short drive away, making it easy to enjoy both nature and convenience.

• Quiet hours. Whistler municipal bylaw states that quiet hours are between 10 pm and 8 am
• No smoking on the premises. This includes patios, decks, and hot tubs. The Heights is a 100% smoke-free complex.
• Not pet-friendly. No pets are permitted in this home
• Vehicle restriction. Trailers and other recreational vehicles such as ATV's, Snowmobiles, Watercraft of any kind, RV's, campers are not permitted in the complex.

Nice Ski house

Great location. Ski in and ski out when there is enough snow. We only had ski in/ski out for 2 days. Very nice property well maintained and fully stocked with every amenity you would need. Host and property management are very responsive and helpful

We had a great time and enjoyed the townhouse. Only downfall was its listed as ski in ski out and that’s a bit of a stretch. Overall great house.

An incredible experience

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was a slight hiccup with the garage to house doorway being locked but we were able to get that resolved. The home was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed nightly fires and greatly appreciated the properly stocked wood supply in the garage. I would highly recommend staying here!

Don’t go in summer

We stayed during the summer when the temperatures outside were in the low 90s. The house was equipped with several fans that didn’t work. The ones that did work were of such low quality that you could only feel the air if you stood about a foot away from the fan. The two bedrooms upstairs were unusable. The beautiful master bedroom had one small window that opened and the two large windows could only open less than 2 inches due to a railing that had been built outside of them. Therefore it was impossible to cool down the room. It was 88° inside when we arrived. No windows had been open or fans had been turned on, despite the fact that we knew the place was empty the night before. The next day we advised them again they needed to do something. They brought a portable air conditioner and installed it in the master bedroom. However, it was installed with the vent adhered to the glass of the window that meant that all of the heat was being sucked out of the room and bounce back into the air conditioner. They had close the door to the room and said give it a few hours to cool down, when we came back 2 1/2 hours later, the cardboard on the window, the vent pipe, the window itself or all extremely hot to the touch, and the plastic was actually melting. The room was worse than before. This was a very expensive rental. This is not how I wanted to spend my vacation.

We loved this home. The view was amazing and felt 100% relaxed while there. Close enough to the village to join in with the festivities but far enough for a quiet retreat. Lots of room for 8 people.

Great location on the chill side of Whistler! Perfect for Summer or Winter - adjacent to Dave Murray DH run with easy access via trail or road to Creekside base area 5 minutes away (drive). Beautiful property and Whistler Platinum was easy and professional to communicate with. If you love Whistler but want to avoid the ongoing rush and bustle of the Village, Taluswood is worth the look.

Great spot for intermediate skiiers

The description is very accurate. Intermediate skiiers can ski in/out. Note that this is on the Whistler side, and below the cloud level. Not only are the trails intermediate to get back in, but they got icy a few days as well. Creekside gondola hardly had a wait in the mornings, so we were up the mountain quickly. The unit is perfect for 2 families. The hot tub was great and was clean and serviced while we were there. The communication with the management team was prompt. Drawbacks were the small kitchen, which could have been stocked better with plates/cups and basic spices and condiments. The stove is funky with a gas/wood combo. The directions were given once we texted asking how to use it. It was still not intuitive and made us a bit nervous. Overall a good stay in Whistler.

Excellent group ski accommodation

Excellent. Would do it again. Good quality amenities and kitchen. Property management communications was very prompt and accommodating. As a large group we really liked the double garage. My only comment is that the ski in-ski out access was not obvious. Figured it out after talking to locals on the street.

5-Star Property

This is an excellent property. Very clean. Bed linens like those from a 5-star hotel! Lots of fluffy white towels. Hot tub was great. Good supply of quality hangers in the closets which is rare but very appreciated! Very responsive property manager. Highly recommend! Note: bring your own tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil, foil/parchment/etc, plastic food storage containers, and laundry detergent as none of these are supplied.

Best property rental experience

This property is amazing. Very responsive management. Kitchen is the best stocked for cooking I have ever seen in a rental. Impeccably clean and comfortable. We had a family of 8 adults, 3 generations and all fit in with plenty of room. Hosted large family meals as easily as I could in my own home. Every detail was thought of.

Perfect retreat in Whistler

Spacious, well-maintained townhouse high on the hillside above Whistler with wonderful views across the valley. So easy and relaxing. We could mountain bike from the house. Everything was in stock as needed. We will definitely rent this place again when we return to Whistler.

Wonderful

We absolutely love the stay. It was a very clean and spacious property with good supplies in the kitchen. The only downside is I really wouldn’t say it is ski in/ski out. The path down to the black run(which for us is not an issue as far as difficulty) Is quite steep and narrow. On the way back it is quite a uphill hike which was not very fun with children. That really was the only downside. We ended up driving down to ski school every day.Would recommend highly only with this one downside.
