"Exceptional per usual! We love staying at the Whaler, the condo option is great for families that aren’t trying to eat out each meal and it’s in a great location by Black Rock for snorkeling, plenty of restaraunt options and next door to Whalers Village for plenty of shopping options."

"Beautiful stay! We have stayed at the North and Nanea and both beautiful properties!"

"All good"

"The resort and staff were top notch! All the amenities were great. The only downside was the pay for parking that I was unaware of until the day we checked in."

"Needs updating. Room was old and dated. Bed pulled down from a wall and mattress was horrible and well worn. Squeaked everytime moved and sank in middle. Dangerous as well. Decor was from the 80's!!"

"Best resort for kids"

"Our room was very clean and had a beautiful view of the ocean! In the evening, if we weren't busy doing something else, we could sit on our balcony and listen to the Hawaiian Luau. "Do not book ocean view property, it does not have ocean view at all and the property is well aware of this. It is convenient location by the beach, rooms are large, have space with kitchenette etc so allow you to eat in. The property felt tired as you get into the rooms, amenities were much better up-kept."

"room was amazing best view with ocean front right out of your window turtles and whales right outside your window as well what a place def recommend just one thing needed for the ladies is more mirrors and a iron lol. "

"Bigger room than expected. Great property and lots of pools. Having the kitchen and laundry is a huge plus if you plan to stay in Maui for more than 4 days. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends."

"Loved it !!!! beautiful views, quiet and clean . Great for a family vacation . We stayed in a three bedroom ."

"We always enjoy our stay at the Honua Kai. Wide open property with multiple pools. Great Duke's poolside service. Easy parking garage with above ground options. Plus, a great walkway along the beach or neighboring resorts. We look forward to returning."

"Great stay"
