We took a mini vacation to VA Beach and stayed at this location. Perfect spot. Beach wasn’t extremely busy, right on the Boardwalk, and a fantastic view. Highly recommend!

This is resort that has been sold as timeshares. It is showing it's age. The place is kept clean. There was no reservation made at the resort for our stay. The owner didn't let the property know we where coming. We had printed out the email sent out by the owner and where able to check in using that. In the description of the rental it says smoking is okay on the balcony that is not the case.the bed was not very comfortable. We will look for some place else next time we go to Virginia Beach

The furniture was scuffed. Pots and pan, silverware in very poor condition. The carpet is dirty and the kitchen sink faucet is leaking.

Everything was good and as expected. The mattress on the queen bed and pull out need replaced badly. Probably the worst I’ve ever slept on anywhere. The floors were dirty. Had to keep shoes on the whole time. Otherwise, all was well! I would rebook if the mattresses are replaced.

Unit is small, but clean and efficient. Enjoyed the pool; great beach and boardwalk, of course. Good restaurants versus near by, but many are not open in February. Staff at the resort were friendly and helpful. (For some reason our single 8-day vrbo booking was 3 separate reservations in their system, which took some extra effort.) Overall, just what we were looking for.

A little outdated but otherwise very nice!! The property manager was extremely helpful and accommodated. Location was perfect got to see dolphins every morning everything is in walking distance. I loved that the pool is not by the front desk I hate that about hotels

The Ocean Sands resort was a perfectly located resort right on the beach. The building is a little dated, but the condo was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The check-in was very easy and they even allowed us early check-in. The garage parking was convenient and very close to the unit. Every single person we met at the resort went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. It’s a great property for the value. We’ll definitely be returning.

Everything went well during our stay regarding the staff and the room. However we were just very unlucky as our next door neighbors loudly, and I mean loudly, fought during our entire stay! We called the desk late one night and the staff were really nice.

The whole experience was nice. The booking, correspondence with owner, and the check in process were all top notch. A+ all the way! The unit was very clean with comfy beds, and televisions in each room. The kitchen had everything we needed on those days that we opted to stay in and cook. And the bath room was spacious, well lit, and had a jetted tub. I wouldn't hesitate to book with this owner again, and will refer all my friends/family. Thanks again, for helping to make this much needed vacation a nice one!

Tried to check in and was told I was not in computer. Showed my proof and the 2 females working left me standing there with no help and were worried more about getting off time. The 2nd shift male came on duty and had been listening and could not believe how I was treated and helped me get a room. 611 room advertised houses 4 . I had to sleep on a pull out sofa bed and their was nothing but springs sticking in my back. I had to take cushions and put them together to allow me to keep from sleeping on floor. So disappointing. Good news was ocean view.

I booked and travelled to this Oceanfront property from out of town. After showing up to check in to the property, the office manager tells me that there are no rooms left in their building for the night. Confused, I come to find out that the host had left me a message 1 hour before I arrived mentioning that I had been moved to a sister property 5 minutes down the road due to "water damage". After arriving to the sister property and talking to the office manager there, I find out that I was given a "marina view" room with no balcony. This second property was lacking the amenities that were one of the few reasons I booked the listing initially. During the entire evening, I called the host multiple times and received no return communication. Office management from the first property mentioned that this host has miscommunicated with them in the past. Thankfully, I was able to I work with Vrbo support to get different accommodations for the remainder of my trip.
