This is a very unique hotel in downtown Vancouver. I selected it because it was much cheaper than other hotels in the area. We were not disappointed!
The Burrard is very cute and charming, with retro decor. We booked a king room and while the bed takes up most of the room, it was still very comfortable with our carry on luggage. The bathroom was clean and had nice shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap and lotion. Very small sink, but to be expected.
The courtyard was a fantastic surprise and we enjoyed sitting by the fire table with our complimentary mocktail and chips to relax after a busy day. What a great touch! The hotel is also connected to Elysian Coffee which had great breakfast options and coffee, though the Nespresso machine was also very lovely to use.
The Burrard is on the same street as St. Paul's Hospital, so for those who are not used to or are bothered by sirens, this might not be a great pick. I am a sensitive sleeper and used ear plugs which helped a lot.
Overall, a great stay! We really enjoyed it and would come again for its fun vibe, location and price.
