"The location was great, the room (newly renovated) was impeccably clean and well appointed and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The property is in the midst of improvements but none of this hampered our stay and (for us) emphasized that the owners are working to improve the experience of their customers. Our room had a wonderful view of Lake Michigan (it looks like many of the rooms do) and it was great to actually be able to walk right across the street and experience the beauty first hand. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The room was on the first floor but had steps from the lobby. It did have a back door close to the room in order to bring our bags in. No breakfast but there were options within walking distance. The location is perfect for walking past the shops and restaurants to the harbor. The room was small and only one person could use the bathroom to get ready."
