"The smart hotel was an excellent base to explore Rome. There is a shuttle bus service from the airport to the town on Ciampino which takes 5 mins and costs 1euro20. The train station is a 2 min walk from the hotel and frequent trains get you to Rome central in 15 mins for 1euro50. The town of Ciampino is a good base with a nice restaurant called Rosmarino and a great cafe that does decent breakfasts called Norcineria at good prices. "There was no heat in our room! We were not told before we checked in that there was no heat. It was 50 degrees during the day and 40 degrees at night. When we called the receptionist, Rita, she said that the heaters weren't working in any of the rooms, and that they had called a technician but he still had not come. Also, the "breakfast" was only yogurt and pastries; cookies or croissant. We had to wait for the receptionist to come to request coffee, and had to ask for a second cup of coffee; no...

"We had heavy suitcases and the list was broken!! We were on 3rd floor !! What a start. The concierge was good and helped. Room was ok but no English tv !!! No conversion on tv either.. Breakfast was great with great views from the top restaurant"
