Quiet room in the lodge, good tea facilities clean room if a little tired. Shower works well but could do with fixing and the shower door should be at the other end. Towel radiator doesn't seem to work, I hung my towel on the door and the cleaner put it back on the towel rail so it was still damp in the evening. Not enough lighting in the room. Food in the pub was good.

A nice location and convenient to drive into Brighton from here. Hotel was old and showed its age in places. Rooms were clean and tidy but the floor is very squeaky, and appears the same in other rooms as we could hear movement in other rooms. Nice walk around the hotel in the evening. Left too early to have a breakfast. Evening food and drink was ok, staff were very helpful.

Lovely little pub hotel with a lot of history. The room was clean the bathroom was large with a wonderful bathtub. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Only downside of the stay was the food, as part of a chain the meals are all instant or microwave options which, though arrive very fast and hot just don't compete with something made fresh.
