Dirty, Rude, and Unsafe.

NOT AS ADVERTISED. I arrived and was told I couldn't check in despite calling ahead that I would be a bit late. When I was finally given a bed the room was dirty, the bathroom moldy, and the sheets had a very strong smell that made me itchy. The room had no running AC, only a fan that was as loud as a helicopter. The room was significantly hotter than the temperature outside by morning. The central pool was under construction so only a small part of the courtyard by the bar was accessible. When I reported a man taking photos in the dorm at night I was brushed off. When I tried to leave because of the above issues I was still forced to pay for all of my booking.

Hostel Che Tulum is amazing! There is upbeat music almost all day and night. It has an amazing jungle vibe. If you like to party and meet a lot of people, this a great place to be! They also have free breakfast everyday, as well as tours and dinner! I loved the atmosphere, the staff and the room we had was great too with AC and fan.

Pros: comfy beds, good location Cons: party in the pool with extra loud music until 1am eveeyday, shower with poor water pressure and hot water in and out at its wish, they offer tours starting at 7.40am but breakfast available until 8am.

Fun hostel, great staff

Cute location in town, away from the beach but a quick walk to bus station and eateries. Love the nightly events and day trips organized by the hostel. It would be nice to have couple quiet hours in the afternoon and at night. But if you love party vibe all day - this is the place for you!!! Overall, it was a fun stay!

disappointing considering how much we paid

The price was marked in AUD on Expedia and we had to pay the same amount but in usd on arrival. My bed sheet had blood spatters on it and we didn't know if pillow case or bottom sheet were clean or re used. Music stayed on so loud to the point it felt like our actual bed was in a night club. Stayed on til past midnight which was a bit too ridiculous. Food was over priced for what it was. We paid for breakfast included and needed it 15 mins early to catch a bus by 8 and they said no so we left without food. Disappointing

LOUD!

LOUD booming music until 2am every night. None of the rooms provide shelter from the booming music. Staff seemed reasonably friendly though. If you want to sleep at all, don't stay here!

When we arrived our room had not only not been cleaned but rekeed. The fotos of the hostel are exceedingly misleading. It is mainly a place to stay the night for backpacked young people who just need a place to crash.

El hostal se encuentra muy cerca de la zona común.

El hostal se encuentra muy cerca de la zona de restaurantes, bares y cafés caminando, al igual si deseas ir a la zona de playa puedes rentar una bici desde este hostal a un precio muy accesible y llegar en menos de 30 minutos, el hostal te ofrece un desayuno ligero para antes de comenzar tu día, te proporcionan lo básico.

Es muy básico y queda en una zona muy alejada y parece abandonado. Ademas me cobraron 2 personas porque hice mal la reserva y que no podian dejar de vender el cupo sin embargo me cobraron a mi y sobrevendieron el cupo. Tambien supuestamente hice el pago con tarjeta desde Colombia y llegando a registrarme me toco cancelar en efectivo.

Mejor Hostel en Tulum

Me encantó el Hostal! Los cuartos y baños son muy limpios y cómodos. Hay un bar donde se puede tomar y bailar cerca de la piscina, la música va hasta las 12, pero no se puede oír nada cuando estás en el cuarto. Rico desayuno:)
