Find hotels near Trout Lake Community Centre, Vancouver from SAR 419

"Hotel is in a very sketchy part of town. Lots of homeless people and garbage everywhere. Not many eating places near the hotel but if you went over to Comnercial Street you had lots of choices and could experience little Italy. Hotel was very worn out. Linens were clean though and the bed although quite soft was comfortable. Would not stay there again. "

"The property was everything I expected from all the photos shown in the ad. The host just went above and beyond with the amenities supplied with even microwave popcorn! Very comfortable king size bed and all the comforts of home. We really did enjoy our stay and will be back in the future. The area was so beautiful with almost prehistoric like plant life being in an older part of Vancouver. Very nice to walk around the area."

"A small, comfortable garden apartment. No TV, nice kitchen, everything works well. Was on a busy street, but rear entrance was good. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again."

"It was simple everything on the ground floor. 2 bedrooms which was nice. A lot of green grass for the dog which he enjoyed. Close to a lot of viewpoints and easy to get too. Would go back."

"Best thing about this property is the location. It’s a ground level suite in a very old house and the unit reflects that. Big red flag was discovering on entering the property that it had a Jack and Jill shared bathroom with another ground floor unit. This was not noted in the Expedia ad, and was buried down in the listing and a further drop-down in the Vrbo listing. This made the unit uncomfortable and from my perspective unsafe. When you’re in the bathroom, the only locks you have to. Both units are a typical bathroom passage set with a button lock on each side. Not exactly secure, but the real problem is when you are back in the unit itself. The only thing preventing someone from the other side getting into your unit from the bathroom is a metal hook into a metal eye. You have no real locking lock on your side. I had a booking for three nights, but left after one hour. The owner has updated the Vrbo listing to make the shared bathroom, a little more obvious, but that doesn’t solve what I think is a security issue. I have not had satisfactory response from Expedia/VRBO or the owner in terms of refund. There is nothing much in the unit to recommend it. One bed is a mattress on the floor under the stairs. The furniture is all old mismatched and very funky. The only towels were too old, thin, swim towels."

"The Place itself is quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Easy access to bus stop. My room as a solo traveler just perfect size for me Only the bed a little bit soggy in one side and its NOT comfortable for my back. All in all qas just right."

"This house is the perfect fit for any stay in Vancouver. Location is on a beautiful street; close enough to access the bus and the metro easily. Thoughtful touches are all over the house, like extra umbrellas at the door. The house is like staying at home; comforting and full of anything you could think of needing. I look forward to staying every time!"
