Great location overlooking Trim Castle, ideal for exploring Trim and the surrounding area, including Brú na Bóinne. The freshly cooked breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful restaurant. We also really appreciated the lovely surprise of delicious biscuits left in our room for our birthday. Highly recommended.

Trim Castle Hotel is a fantastic place to stay, offering a prime location with beautiful views directly overlooking historic Trim Castle. A special mention goes to Deputy GM Richard, who went above and beyond as a total star by opening up the terrace at night so I could take in the view over the castle. With very reasonable rates, hassle-free free parking, and a delicious breakfast included, the entire experience was top-notch and earns a well-deserved 5-star rating.

VIEW OF THE CASTLE ACROSS THE STREET IS MAGNIFICENT! Can also have a drink in the Castle View bar to enjoy the scenery. We had a great breakfast which included a hot made-to-order menu as well as help-yourself continental breakfast options. BUT, check-in was poor because hotel claimed they did not have our Expedia reservation, even though Expedia said that the hotel confirmed my reservation the day I made it - which was months ago. While the hotel was sold out, we got lucky because they had one cancellation. Trim Castle Hotel claimed it was just a “glitch in the system.” Also, no temperature control/AC in room and no handheld nozzle in the shower. No fridge either, but that’s common in Irish hotels, Good king bed and ample towels.

Had a 2 night stay at the Trim Castle Hotel. Wonderful hotel with fab views of the castle. Lovely food and generally a truly lovely stay. Just wish the rooftop thermal pools had been open but it’s not ready until June. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you
