All the activities listed previously were more about Dublin than Trim. From Trim we visited the the archaeological sites and the Norman castle. This is a great place to stay.

"The property was amazing, a lot of time and effort had gone into the restoration. Location is perfect to explore, Irish culture both ancient and modern day. You are literally just across the street from Trim Castle."

Trim - a great little town to relax in, and wind down from a busy vacation. Enjoyed the pub across the street from Brogan's, good traditional Irish music. Brogan's has a lovely pub and restaurant, with great food, at good prices. Friendly people.

The village was lovely and the castle fadcinating. We used the same tXi company one evening. The charge going was 18 euro, whete the return trip at midnight was 6 euro. Felt like a ripoff factor was in play! Also the hotel is in a housing estate.

The hostess of the Highfield House B and B, Geraldine, was most helpful and welcoming. Trim is a very cute little town!
