"What a unique hotel to stay at! If I am in Springfield again, I will certainly want to stay here again. Love that there is a diner and bar too! I am warey however of certain plant-like smells that overwhelmed me when I was walking through the hall to my room. However, once I went inside of my room, the smell was clean and not stuffy. (Later in the evening when I went back out, I noticed they pulled out a purifier and the smell dissolved) Bathroom vanity and bathroom was impressive. Clean...

"Really great stay here. The manager/owner went above and beyond multiple times to make my time in Springfield pleasant and comfortable. Took a star off because it’s an older property that is in need of renovating (shower curtain rod was broken, bathroom walls were peeling, not enough outlets near bed), but there was evidence that they have started that process and the room seemed clean. Some noise from the train, but the AC fan drowned out most other noise. Walkable area that suited my needs...

"A delicious breakfast, afternoon snacks, incredible evening cookies (delivered to the room!), a wonderfully historic site, engaging staff, convenient to the downtown historic locations and museums, and at less than half the cost of a commercial hotels in further, less convenient and less interesting, locations. We stayed our first night en route to places west, and immediately reserved for our return drive. "
