Overall our experience was good at this rental. We stayed with our two dogs and found the property spacious and definitely dog friendly. However there was a lack of transparency when it came to the online listing details and when we got to the property. We had our dogs with us and once we found the door to the unit we saw a fenced in backyard which got us excited so that our dogs could run around. On further inspection of the inside unit it was posted that the backyard was off limits which meant we had to go to the front of the house for bathroom breaks. The walkway was also really icy for us when we arrived and we fell multiple times to get into the side door entrance. It would have been a helpful heads up from the owner prior to arriving or maybe putting some salt down before we arrived. The property was fairly clean but there were stained on the bedsheets. Also the kitchen does not have a full fridge it has a mini fridge and we would have appreciated more utensils (cutting knives) for preparing food, all we found were pumpkin carving knives. There was also a posting inside the unit that stated there were designated quiet hours which was not posted online. This unit is in a house basement so expect to also hear people upstairs walking around and being active during the day. Overall our experience was good but again we wished there was more transparency and detail on the listing before we rented the space.
