The hotel was having repairs underway in some rooms and also common areas. Rugs were being torn up as an example. The TV worked but the hand held controller was not responsive in turning on and off so had to call desk for assistance.

Smell of cigarette everywhere, even in the ‘non-smoking’ room I had. Noise - people banging doors Workers doing constructions very early in the morning in the unit near mine, while speaking very loud. Gloomy ambiance everywhere Staff opened my door at 9 am despite the sign ‘don’t disturb’, while I was still sleeping.

Just don't go to this place Period.

We arrived and thought we were lost. Outside the hotel looks like a junk yard, you enter the hallway to the front desk and it's musty and warm. Walked in to the hallway to our room (non smoking rooms) and first thing you can smell is cigarette smoke and weed. Entered the room and my eyes started getting itchy and the old smelling dust kind of triggered my asthma (I had my antihistamine so I was fine) No fridge -which we requested to have one days before we checked in, but they provided afterwards. Dust everywhere, bed too low and blanket is very old and stained. tried to calm down, we can't move to another hotel because we are already tired and baby needs to have a break, (5hrs travel) and they won't refund my 1st night so we had to suck it up. We went out for supper and came back having a hard time finding the road, no light to the turn off. If only they updated photos of the place, and said it is under renovation then we would not have stayed there. When booking places you've never been to, better call first and ask if photos online are updated and what not. Never coming back. I wish I could have fought for my 1st night to be refunded as well, and had the strength to drive another 1hr to another hotel. We booked it not because it's the cheapest, but because it was the one closer to where we all wanted to go for a visit. Moved to another hotel for the rest of our stay, $4 difference, 30mins away but it's more worth it. No photos, I wish I did took some.

Very bad

It was difficult to locate the hotel as they have not mentioned the name of the hotel. It is Knights Inn. Toronto East Inn is not seen anywhere. At last I had to go inside the counter and enquire. I had to pay extra for my taxi as we were going around. There were rats inside the bedroom. No pillows but provided sofa cushions. Government of Canada must look into this. Really disappointed.

Bienvenue dans Halloween

Cette ne mérite même pas 2 étoiles. La saleté et la poussière partout. Vraiment affreux. On se croirait dans Halloween. Je ne sais pas pourquoi il apparaît sur le site Hotels.com. C’est vraiment de la pourriture. Nous avons dû changer de chambre. Cet établissement est à refaire au complet. Il n’est pas digne du Canada. Jamais vu autant de saleté. Odeur de moisissure partout.

Terrible Experience...

My stay wasnt anything spectacular, the room was ok, always cleaned by the cleaning lady when asked. Aside that everything else was zero. When i got there, i asked for help with my bags to my room. I was told by the male receptionist at time, that yhey don't offer such service. I was with a little kid and a baby. He actually went to go get me a hotel trolley for me to put my luggage on and push it myself. Despite me carrying a baby and also having a little kid with me. Part time of the reason i stayed there was continental breakfast was included in my stay. But the breakfast was rubbish. What was included in the breakfast was a cold tiny muffin and a cold dry croissant packed in paper bag and a tiny cup of coffee, already put in a paper cup beforehand. My room smelled of cigarettes smoke. I had to go look for the cleaner on arrival to spray some stuff in the room.

Great stay!!!

When we first entered the hotel I was shocked with the condition of the lobby and hallwsys. The paint was chipped and old. The carpets were in bad condition. I was worried about what the conditiin of the room woukd be. Upon entertaining the room i was amazed. The room was in great condition. Furniture was clean and in great conditiin. The room was furnished very stylishly. Bed was very comfortable and had a great sleep. It was nice having continental breakfast and coffee.

Worthy

Worthy stay. Only lack - there are no fridge and micro in the room. The hotel is weared, but the room itself looks and feels good, everything working, hot water, good tube and shower. Excellent mattresses.
