"I really enjoyed the location. The down side was the litter around the outside of the building. I stayed four nights and the same trash was on the ground when I arrived and when I left! The workers did the bare minimum and were actually lazy to walk back by the trash twenty times a day and not pick it up! Very poor site management!"

"This is a great, walkable downtown location for restaurants, shops, etc. We had a deluxe king suite upstairs, and you will need to use the stairs (ok for us). It was spacious enough, and bed was comfy. Coffeemaker (k-pods) in room, but also lobby coffee, in addition to microwave and refrigerator in room. No breakfast goodies, but you save alot (if there are just 2 of you). A/C is the typical hotel style, but it worked well. We stayed on back side, so we didn't face Hwy 395. Staff was friendly, although we didn’t interact much beyond check in and out. We would stay again"

"Liz at the registration desk is AMAZING! We wanted to shorten our stay by one night and were getting the run around from Hotels.com, she was able to fix it for us. She made sure we were well taken care of. We had a kitchen suite at the motor lodge, it was perfect for me, my husband and our 2 adult kids. Plenty of space and a full kitchen to save on meals and snacks. The room was clean and recently updated. I left my prescription glasses and didn't realize until we had driven 9 hours home. Housekeeping found my glasses and shipped them back to me. Katie's Country Kitchen in the main building is probably the best restaurant value around. Great food and reasonable prices. Everyone we encountered was extremely helpful and kind. We will definitely stay again."
