"A last minute stay, room was outdated and in need of some TLC. Disappointed as no water on a hot day (27c) or biscuits or chocolate drink as this is usually the standard for most these days. I dont think the menu has changed much since we last visited. Love the area with plenty to do and see."

It's a shame the castle wasn't open but that was just bad timing on our part because of replacement of the bridge.

Castle wasn’t open when I went but certainly worth the hike around to see the island on both sides! Locals were so nice too. Saw people horse riding, cliff jumping (they were experienced with helmet, NOT for novices), and lots of dogs.
