"The only detriment was the interior of the house was adequate and well supplied but dated. It could use a bit of refreshing the interior. The grounds were lovely, with animal life abundant for that woodsy feeling. The weather was a little to cool to use the pool."

"Had an absolutely amazing stay! Was the perfect place to relax and use as home base for a catch up weekend with old friends. All of the communication was seamless and the house was in excellent condition when we arrived. The pool is a paradise!"

"This was an exceptional experience. It's a great house in a terrific neighborhood in East Hampton. Ben, the host, was remarkably responsive. The kitchen is stocked with great supplies. There's a terrific grill, a basement replete with a gym, an small office, and a fabulous laundry room. The outside is the real winner here, as the pool and gardens are gorgeous. Book it!"

"Overall, our stay was great. The property was clean, location was convenient and the fact that we were walking distance of Rita Cantina and a private (bay) beach was wonderful. However, one star deducted for lack of clarity on rooms. This home is effectively a 3 true bedroom, with one bedroom on the lower level (without a door) and 2 "open loft" spaces-- not a 5 bedroom as advertised. This was information we wish would have been clearer given that we were traveling with small children and needed to be considerate of limiting noise. Nonetheless, this feedback was communicated and Michael was available and responsive during our stay."

"We loved staying here. The house is lovely. Great kitchen and bathrooms. Overall very nice decor and very comfortable. The pool is beautiful! The deck and yard are attractive and welcoming.!The location of the house is great!!!! Walking distance to the beach and Rita Cantina, which is a fantastic restaurant with authentic Mexican cuisine!"

"The house was well clean and renovated- each bedroom has a nice ensuite bathroom and photos are accurate. We were a party of 6 and I will say the kitchen was not well stocked for 6 people. I believe there may have been a total of 6 plates and maybe a set of 8 silverware. So that made it slightly challenging to eat and cook there. We ended up using paper/plastic often which I am not a fan of. Also, I would say that the pool furniture is not in great shape. They did have new cushions on the lounge chairs but a few of the chairs themselves are falling apart. Location wise you can walk to a small bay beach. The town of East Hampton is about a 10-15 minute drive. The house has a lot of extra charges to be aware of: hot tub, a guest stopping by etc."

"Nickolaus’s place exceeded expectations. The place is spotless. The ipe deck is enormous, the pool is great. Their attention to detail to every part of the house did not go unnoticed. The beds were super comfortable. The privacy is meditative. This is a gem. It’s tucked in one of the most beautiful parts of northwest woods and is a stone’s throw to bay beach which we walked to often. This is probably the best rental we have done out east. Thank you!"
