"Great situation with its own underground car park; not that easy to find on first lap, as I was alone, but just before the steps to reception on the left……£10 charge was is fine. A bit tired from the outside and needs a bit of TLC, but room was fine and…..roomy!! Breakfast not worth bothering with, as just cold Continental, but so close to town, so other options? Great value for position and practicality; helpful SA gent on reception on arrival - would revisit for sure, but don’t use if trying to create an impression!!"

"My partner and I stayed for two nights in June, booked through Hotels.com. Crescent Place is beautifully designed throughout—modern, calm and thoughtfully put together. We were in Apartment 7, a cosy, stylish and luxurious space. Pros Apartment 7 feels warm and inviting with a layout that makes it easy to unwind. The superking bed was extremely comfortable; even at eight months pregnant I slept well without my pregnancy pillow. The bathroom is huge, bright and finished to a high standard, though the rainfall shower head needs adjusting as it sprays from the top. The fridge with complimentary water and milk was a thoughtful touch. Cons The main issue is noise. Apartment 7 sits directly above Parlar, a café/bar open until midnight with live music on Fridays. It was loud enough that we couldn’t sleep until it ended. The hotel offered Apartment 1, but due to mobility needs we stayed in 7. The bar owner was apologetic and offered complimentary pastries. Guests should be told in advance that music can be heard from around 8pm until close. The front door code briefly stopped working but was quickly reset. The AC unit made an intermittent buzzing even when switched off. The booking process felt convoluted between Hotels.com, the Mansley app and multiple emails, and receiving access details only on the morning of arrival added stress. Overall, Apartment 7 is a beautiful space and despite the issues we would absolutely stay again."

Vernon Place Accommodation

"We stayed in room 1B in the Vernon Place Courtyard. Was a really convenient location right in the town centre, so all the shops and amenities that location offers. Excellent communication from our host and plenty of easy free overnight parking nearby in the council car parks (free after 8pm till 8am or 10am on Sundays at time of review) . It seems obvious in hindsight but only feedback is the images on Hotel.com and other sites are a mixture of all the different rooms they manage in that courtyard area, and i think, from what i can tell 1B is maybe probably the least extravagant and simplest of the available rooms in the Vernon Place portfolio compared to the other images. But that's not really a complaint... and not sure what can be done about that apart from having different online listings for each room individually? It was absolutely great for what we needed - a comfy, simple room just for an overnight short-stay. Was tidy and very clean, instant electric shower worked well, and the kitchenette was useful for some basic level self-catering. Main thing for us: At the price it was excellent value for money compared to other hotels and BnBs in the area. Zero complaints and would stay again if i'm ever in Cheltenham town centre. big thanks !"
