Sleep Inn Springfield West

10/10 Excellent

"My biggest complaint is that there is are not a lot more Sleep Inn hotels around the country because I'd stay in every one that was like the one in Springfield, IL. It's a Choice Hotel, probably testing a new boutique line because there are only a few so far. But it's perfect for the business traveler like me. The rooms are not large but there is no wasted space; clean, great aesthetic, great layout, new and well-thought out furniture, great bed, interesting room design, very functional bathroom facilities and walk-in glass shower. I stayed an extra night just to treat myself to an extra day of rest. Excellent location right off the 72 on the south side of Springfield, Two restaurants right across the parking lot but far enough not to intrude on how quiet this place is. Plenty of parking, good visibility on your vehicle from the room but no parking right up against the building; no 5 AM wake ups to a diesel truck starting. Great place, great price."
