"We are both professors and visited Salisbury in January 2026. We stayed one night, had dinner and enjoyed the bar in the property and breakfast served in our room --nice touch and attention to the guests, (the kitchen was going to be under renovation for a few days). "If you’re looking for a lovely spot in the heart of the New Forest, this is definitely one to try. Although it’s located on the A36, once you’re inside the property the road noise disappears completely. We stayed in the Nomansland Suite, which was perfect for our four-day stay. It included a comfortable double bed, bathroom, fridge, and kettle, and the room was cleaned daily. The host who greeted us was very friendly and suggested lots of great things to do nearby, which was really helpful....
