"This is a “ just a place to lay my head down for a few hours” facility. It’s out dated, no soap, shampoo etc…no chain lock on the door. You get what you pay for, and this time we just needed a quick stop. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and everything went smooth."

"Our favorite place to stay in Ames! The location can’t be beat. But that wouldn’t mean much if it weren’t also clean, with good food and amenities, nice employees, and chill atmosphere. I’ve neglected to give such a great review before because it can be full on busy weekends and we’ve had to go to our 2nd fave place (Gateway), but our last ISU kid is about to graduate, so we can share the secret now. Plan ahead and return to your favorite rooms again and again. "
