"It was raining so we didnt really get to explore the area"

"I would like to share my honest review of my stay at The Notary Hotel in Philadelphia. There were a few things that made our stay quite uncomfortable. The biggest issue was the excessive noise during the night. Around 3–4 AM, we could clearly hear loud noises coming from the guests upstairs and from the hotel hallways. The noise was very disturbing and made it difficult to get a proper night’s sleep. Another issue was the extremely low water pressure in the shower, which made showering quite...

"Unless you’re desperately needing a place to stay, skip this one. Unless you’re super budget conscious, skip this one. They couldn’t offer me early check-in and then had the audacity to not only say no to the early check-in (I was going to pay the fee), they told me I wouldn’t be able to check in until 5:45. Check-in is at 4pm. My question was when were you going to tell me that? I have things to do. Your code also doesn’t work until 4 pm so if you want to store your belongings in the locker,...

"No staff available, you just have a code to get in. No floor numbers, and when you open the door you thought it was a maintenance closet so just keep going around the bend! Room was nice but some outlets were coming out of the wall and not working. The mini fridge was in a cabinet and making it super hot, so that made us a little nervous lol Nice location though! Very walkable and a restaurant attached. Parking garages nearby."

My room was beautiful and spotless. Very quiet and was enjoyed a wonderful night sleep in the comfy bed!! Water pressure and temp were perfect t. Parking o the street was free after 10 until 8 am and there was a lot that offered great prices and specials directly across from the front door. Was...

"In Chinatown which was somewhat noisy but within walking distance to historic Philadelphia. Hotel is outdated with broken items. Room was dirty. Breakfast was fair. Parking next to building was okay but costly. Staff were very helpful and kind."
